This email is coming to you live from sunny Luxor, Egypt.
We're about 9 days into the retreat, with just a few more to go, and I wish I had words to tell you how truly full my heart is.
The seven women who joined me here are beautiful, inside and out.
We spent the first few days in Cairo in full tourist mode, visiting the pyramids, the Grand Egyptian Museum, and fully immersing ourselves in the culture through food and the holy places here.
We also spent a full day masterminding, connecting, and dreaming about what the future looks like with fellow professional, service-based Egyptian female entrepreneurs. To say that day was a true dream come true does not do it justice. Each of us walked away - American and Egyptian alike - feeling deeply connected to each other, our work, and what we're all building.
From there, we flew to Aswan, explored the Temple of Isis, the Nubian spice markets, and the power of the Blue Lotus. Magical!
Next up was a four day Nile cruise on a traditional Egyptian boat (a dahabiya), and it was a breath of fresh air to be on the water, taking in life on the banks as we passed by.
We've got another few days in Luxor before we head back to Cairo... and then back home.
Throughout this entire retreat, the conversations have been rich. Life, relationships, business, dreams, and SO many laughs. You can see why my heart is full.
