Last week, I sat on a panel in a room of multi-six and seven-figure female business owners, and I was asked:
As we shift from what has "gotten us here" to what 2026 and beyond requires of us, what is the essential inner or outer shift you believe women must embrace to lead what’s next?
I had to sit with this for a while, but I fundamentally believe we need to move from conditioning-driven leadership to conviction-driven leadership.
So many of us have learned how to succeed by mastering other people’s playbooks. We are experts at being adaptable, polished, strategic, and agreeable... nice.
And to be honest, that has served us.
But the next era of leadership requires something entirely different from each of us:
- a clear sense of what you believe,
- the courage to name it,
- and the conviction to lead from it, even when it disrupts expectations.
Last week on the blog and podcast, I talked about strategy and readiness... but at the core of all of that is a deep sense of conviction, purpose, and heart.
Your strategy and the execution of it really only works when you can truly stand behind it. Conviction is what brings that strategy to life and fuels your momentum.
I believe 2026 will be led by women who trust their instincts as much as their expertise, and more importantly, bring all of it to the table.
