The Scoop: Two Questions I’ve Been Sitting With Lately

Reader,

I just wrapped up my first Social Impact Roundtable of the year, and I'm buzzing from the depth and heart in the conversations we had.

In that sacred space, I posed two questions:

What do you feel called to build/continue building in 2026, and why now?

What conversations do you wish more entrepreneurs were having this year?

As I was drafting these questions, I was also doing my own reflection. So, let me share a little.

I am continuing to build out the work I do in collaboration with Egyptian women, with the physical manifestation of that being the Built to Last Egypt Retreat (2 spots remaining for Oct 2026).

This is part of my heart's calling, and I'm thrilled to see where this takes me, the bridges we can build, and the rich community that might follow.

I'm also choosing to be more intentional and unapologetic (my word for the year) about my work as a whole. That means really honing in on WHO I'm serving, HOW I'm serving, and being intentional about the IMPACT of all of it.

This is still developing, but I'm revisiting the structure and model of my own business, the way I consistently create, measure, and share about the impact of my and my clients' work, and leading the conversation around doing business differently.

You've heard me say this before, but we are being called to show up differently, more authentically and intentionally, and I want to help leaders and founders, especially those at critical inflection points, do that well.

As I thought about the deficits I see in conversations, the one that really comes to the forefront for me is that doing business has to look different if we want to thrive in 2026.

We’re reaching the limits of unchecked capitalism, profit-at-all-costs thinking, and extraction over regeneration.

People don't want to do business this way, and they don't want to work in this way.

There's a lot of space for creativity and heart in this conversation, and I welcome it.

What about you?

What do these two questions bring up for you? I'm genuinely interested in your answers. Please hit reply and let me know what's brewing for you this year.

If you missed it, last week on the blog/pod, we dug into a conversation about understanding what this moment is asking from each of us... and that it's rarely about doing more. Give it a listen/read if you missed it.

Do you need support?

Are you at a point where continuing the way you have isn’t an option but starting over doesn’t make sense either?

Are you at an inflection point where you’re facing decisions about direction, leadership, or evolution that will shape what comes next?

If you want strategic support (not more tactics or fancy frameworks) that meets the moment, book a call to work through what’s next.
