What do you do when something new starts stirring, not to replace what you’ve built, but to expand it?
That's the question I was pondering this morning at my friend, Windy Lawson's, Solopreneur Networking Event this morning.
Right now, I’m deep in the early stages of planning a retreat in Egypt for Fall 2026, and I’ll be heading there this September to meet with partners, explore sites, and lay the foundation for what’s coming.
It’s exciting, big, and a massive heart project I can barely stop thinking about.
And… it’s also competing for attention with the very real day-to-day running of my business. Client calls, deliverables, strategy sessions, invoices, admin work... all the stuff that doesn’t stop just because something shiny and new is on the horizon.
Have you ever navigated this? After the breakout session where I mentioned this today, it's clear this is the tension so many of us live in.
The thing that's bubbling up for me around this, perhaps the real learning, is that I don’t have to choose between dreaming and leading.
I get to make space for both, because they're both important to me.
