My refrigerator died this weekend.
There were signs it was on its way out for months, but I ignored them.
Well, maybe more accurately, I just sort of hoped the low hum I'd been hearing would resolve itself.
Newsflash: It didn't.
We do this in business all the time. We see a problem bubbling to the surface and put it in the "deal with this later" bucket.
When positive signals show up or it looks like the winds of change are coming, we think, "Whew! Glad I don't have to worry about that right now."
The reality though, is that ignoring low grade problems is how many founders find themselves with big challenges.
