Have you ever been paralyzed by the sunshine slowdown?
There's a stretch of road near my house where, at a certain time of day, the sun is so blinding I genuinely cannot see.
I've lived here almost 10 years. I know every curve, every stop sign, and every spot where the traffic merges, and none of it matters when the light hits just right. I flip the visor down, lift my hand, and slow to a crawl, because moving forward when you can't see what's ahead just feels so unsafe.
I'm guessing you know the feeling.
A lot of the women I work with are navigating their own version of this. They have years of experience and hard-won expertise, but a fog (or a blast of sunshine, in this case) of uncertainty, self-doubt, and too many outside voices has them crawling along a road they actually know by heart.
Waiting feels passive, like you're still considering.
But waiting is a decision too, and it usually costs more than making the wrong move.
For accomplished women, inaction rarely looks like inaction. It often looks like more research, refining your offer oooooone more time, or telling yourself you'll move when X, Y, or Z happens. We're smart and capable, which makes us exceptionally good at making waiting look like progress.
Meanwhile, the clarity you're waiting for rarely shows up while you sit still. Readiness is something you build by moving, not something that arrives before you start.
