It has been a whirlwind here in Cairo.
I'm sitting in my hotel by the airport tonight, feeing immensely grateful for the last week.
My time here has been full of beautiful conversations with women who are leading businesses that are truly making a difference.
Many of them are engaged in women's empowerment activities, equipping other female led businesses with tools, support, and resources around financial literacy, business acumen, and strategy, while others are leading businesses in tech, career and university placement, fashion design, and marketing.
One of the things I have been reminded of while I've been here is just how much I love getting into the guts of someone's business and talking through options for how to shift the strategy and operations in more aligned directions, and so do they!
This has been a powerful taste of what we'll be doing during the Built to Last Retreat in October.
- Building rich relationships and connections with women who are just like us
- Sharing stories about our best... and perhaps most challenging moments as business owners
- Masterminding together around challenges we're all facing - and let me tell you, they are the exact same no matter where you live in the world - and identifying unique strategies for moving forward
- Networking and sharing a tea and a meal together
The list goes on... and this is just ONE day of the retreat!
The other days we'll be exploring Cairo, Aswan, Luxor, and floating on the Nile, finding rest and the spaciousness to really reflect on what we're building and where the next phase of it might take us!
There are two spots remaining, and after this week and the conversations I've had, I am more convinced than ever that this experience will fundamentally change you and your business, just like it continues to do with mine.
